A rapper named Lil Nas X launched a controversial pair of modified Nike’s called “Satan Shoes” featuring a bronze pentagram, an inverted cross and a drop of real human blood — and the 666 pairs sold out almost immediately.
The “Satan Shoes” were priced at $1,018 a pair, a reference to the Bible passage Luke 10:18 that reads: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” And each shoe’s air bubble sole contains 60 cubic centimeters (2.03 fluid ounces) of red ink and “one drop” of human blood.
The black and red sneakers were made using Nike Air Max 97s, but Nike said it did not design these shoes and did not endorse them.
They were released as a tie-in with the rapper’s recent single “Montero.” The video for it shows the rapper descending into hell and pole dancing for the devil.
The shoes sparked outrage online over the weekend, and attracted criticism from a number of high-profile political and religious figures, including South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Daniel 8) foretell that iniquity will abound as transgressors will reach their fullness signaling the world is nearing the end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
