After weeks of earthquakes that have disrupted their colonies, bees are abandoning their hives as they flee the vibration of earthquakes and repeated tremors in the earthquake zone of Puerto Rico.

Bees have deserted up to 25% of hives in towns like Guayanilla in southern Puerto Rico after hundreds of tremors and a 6.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the area.

Bees hate vibration and the repeated tremors and earthquakes since Dec. 28 has caused them to become less docile and leave their nests.

Also, the quakes have shifted the position of many hives, confusing returning bees and causing destruction inside the wooden boxes.

Additionally, the beekeepers were disrupted from their normal tending of hives as they recovered from quakes that collapsed hundreds of homes and caused thousands of Puerto Ricans to sleep outdoors.

Puerto Rico’s hardy, productive bees are the descendants of Africanized bees which were seen as a possible substitute for western honey bees that have died off in unprecedented numbers.

But then around 85% of Puerto Rico’s bees were wiped out by Hurricane Maria in 2017, which killed about 3,000 people on the Caribbean island.

The bee population has since recovered to around 60% of its former size but now the beehives have been disrupted again by the repetitive shaking causing them to become stressed and leave their nests.

Also, extreme weather in the U.S. hit honeybees hard with the weather wiping out 1/3 of honey bees.

Bees pollinate food crops with one-third of the human diet coming from pollinators, including bees which are in trouble, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The bees are in trouble from human impact on the environment, extreme weather, and now even impacted by severe earthquake zones, which means that humanity’s food supply chain could also be in trouble in the future.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6, Revelation 16) foretell that extreme weather, earthquakes, and famine will be signs of the Last Days indicating the coming end of the age.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
