Recently the White Island volcano in New Zealand erupted without warning with tourists on the volcano unfortunately caught by surprise with many severely burned and killed.

And what will also surprise the world in the future are volcanoes in planet earth which are now rising up that will fulfill the prophecies as foretold.

Biblical prophecies foretell coming events on the earth that will be fulfilled with seismic activity including that of volcanoes.

The Ezekiel prophecy in chapter 38 foretells of severe earthquake along with associated mountains thrown down with hailstones, fire, and brimstone which are signs associated with volcanoes.

And the Revelation prophecies in chapter 6 speak of severe earthquake and mountains and islands moved out of their place with the sun darkened where volcanoes can also be a part of that.

Right now old volcanoes are re-awakening in the earth that had been dormant for hundreds of years or extinct for thousands of years.

Old volcanoes are stirring again where a year ago Mount Io, a volcano in southern Japan, erupted for the first time in 250 years, blasting clouds of smoke and rocks into the sky.

And recently people had to flee the island of Kadovar after a volcano erupted there for the first time where the volcano, located in Papua New Guinea, was thought to be dormant.

But has now erupted for the first time in mankind’s recorded history, spewing ash thousands of feet into the air and forcing evacuations.

And now a volcano is re-awakening at the prophetic city of Rome, the heart of the old Roman Empire and home of the great Vatican city on seven hills.

That still rules influentially  in the world today through the world-wide Roman Church clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones as the Revelation prophecy describes.

Where now an extinct volcano at Rome is rumbling back to life.

As the Colli Albani, only 19 miles away from the heart of Rome, that is a 9-mile-long semicircle of hills on the outskirts of Rome, that was classified as extinct, is now coming back to life.

Where the earthquakes have been increasing as the ground area has risen up higher by 164 feet, and it continues to rise each year as the magma bubble is still growing.

As the volcano is re-awakening, which scientists say can produce an eruption similar to the one that destroyed Pompeii, with this Roman volcano able to destroy Rome and the Vatican in an hour.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Revelation 6) foretell that seismic activity as earthquakes and volcanoes will be a significant aspect of the fulfillment of Last Days prophecy which signal the coming end of this age.

And volcanoes in planet earth are awakening and rising up.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
