Real-life scenes in the U.S. are becoming more like an apocalypse movie. Now Florida is setting up highway checkpoints to stop people who could be carrying the new coronavirus.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said, “We will be authorizing the use of the checkpoints on highways coming into Florida. New Orleans obviously has got a lot of problems. There was a concern in the Panhandle that this could impact them.”

DeSantis also said that law enforcement will be looking for out-of-state license plates and if people blow through the checkpoint they will be able to pull them over.

The Governor said during his daily briefing that checkpoints will be set up at state lines in Florida, limiting travel from covid-19 hot spots like Louisiana, but that commercial vehicles would be allowed to move freely.

Also, the Florida Keys, an island chain connected to the mainland by a single road, set up a similar checkpoint to enforce a county order barring any southbound visitors who could be carrying the virus.

The state of Florida had already imposed quarantines on air travelers from other states with coronavirus outbreaks coming in to Florida airports placing them under a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

And now Florida has expanded their quarantine efforts to the roadways as well.

The Governor said this is an effort to prevent people from traveling to Florida to escape other “hot spots” of the coronavirus.

The prophecies in the Holy Bible (Matthew 24, Luke 21) prophesy that pestilence will be a sign indicating the nearing end of this age of grace as the tribulation wrath of the Revelation prophecies draw closer.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
