ISIS jihadists have released a video claiming to show the execution of blindfolded Christians in Nigeria in a barbaric act that was clearly timed to coincide with Christmas.

“This is a message to Christians all over the world,” a masked man says in the one-minute video posted online by the terror group’s Amaq news agency.

As the Christians were beheaded, ISIS claimed the killings at the hands of the jihadists were in retaliation for the death of ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Baghdadi committed suicide when he blew himself up in October after he had been cornered at the end of a tunnel by US special forces and their dogs during an operation in Syria.

No details were given about these Christian victims, but ISIS said they were “captured in the past weeks” in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state, according to the BBC.

In recent months, ISIS has ramped up its attacks there in the country on security personnel, aid, and Christians, setting up roadblocks on highways and conducting searches.

The UN has condemned the “increasing practice by armed groups to set up checkpoints targeting civilians” in the northeast of Nigeria.

Also recently, the jihadists killed six people and abducted five others when they intercepted vehicles on a highway as ISIS has increasingly targeted innocent civilians.

The Biblical Prophecies (Matthew 24, Revelation 20) foretell the rising of hatred and violence in the world from the spirit of anti-Christ where people are also beheaded for their witness to Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
