Three rockets were fired at southern Israel from Gaza one of which struck a home in Sderot. Then after the rockets, armed infiltrators attempted to cross into Israel from Gaza.

Israeli forces shot dead the group of armed Palestinians along the Gaza Strip’s security fence, just hours after the three rockets were fired at southern Israel from the restive coastal enclave.

The exact number of Palestinians killed during the suspected infiltration was not immediately known. Israeli troops fired flares throughout the area in order to assist in the efforts to locate the suspected terrorists.

The Israeli military said an attack helicopter and a tank were used to kill the suspected terrorists as they approached the fence.

During the Saturday night, the cities of Beersheba, Ashdod, Ofakim, Gan Yavne and Yavne opened their municipal bomb shelters ahead of expected reprisal rocket attacks. And the Magen David Adom ambulance service also said it was going on high alert.

Of the three rockets fired at southern Israel, two were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, the military said. But fragments from one of the Gaza rockets struck the yard of a home in the town of Sderot, causing damage but no injuries.

Israeli Defense Force warplanes then attacked two underground terror structures of the Hamas terror group in the north and center of the Gaza Strip.

The rocket fire came after several thousand Palestinians joined protests on the Gaza Strip border earlier Friday, with several hundred rioting and throwing stones and explosive devices at Israeli troops.

The infiltration attempt came as violence between Israel and Gaza, which has been ruled by the Hamas terror group since 2007, has ramped up considerably in the last few weeks.

The Biblical prophecies (Zechariah 12 & 14, Daniel 9) foretell that Israel and Jerusalem will become the focus of the world in the Last Days and there will be wars and rumors of wars in the Mid-East (Matthew 24, Luke 21)  signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all these things that will come to pass (Luke 21:36) in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy that comes upon the world of disobedience, as the born again Church is appointed instead (1 Thess. 1:10, 1 Thess. 5:9) to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
