Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also serves as the country’s defense minister, has warned Iran that their country is within the range of Israeli air strikes from Israel’s F-35 warplanes and weapon systems.

Netanyahu said this as a warning to Iran after a senior Iranian official was quoted by the Iranian Mehr news agency as saying that if the United States attacked Iran, Israel would be destroyed in half an hour.

As Netanyahu visited Nevatim Air Force base alongside his chief of staff Lieutenant-General Aviv Kochavi, air force commander Major General Amikam Norkin and other top air force officials, he stopped by a squadron of U.S.-built, domestically-modified F-35s, known as Adir.

“I am on an impressive tour of the air force base. I see all of our weapons systems and planes. Here behind me is the ‘Adir’, the F-35,” Netanyahu said. “Recently, Iran has been threatening the destruction of Israel. It would do well to remember that these planes can reach anywhere in the Middle East, including Iran and certainly Syria.”

Israel has long said that every option is on the table in ensuring that Iran does not develop a nuclear weapon, and has backed pledges to prevent Iranian military entrenchment in Syria by carrying out air strikes there.

In the past, Israel has conducted strikes against suspected nuclear facilities in both Iraq and Syria, and Iran has blamed the country for a string of assassinations targeting Iranian nuclear scientists from 2010 through 2012—something Israel too has neither confirmed nor denied.

After Iran’s threat against Israel, and Iran’s announcement that it had surpassed the nuclear deal’s uranium limit, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz warned that “Israel will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, even if it has to act alone on that.”

Iran continues it’s aggressive nature toward Israel (Ezekiel 38:5, Daniel 10:13) in the Mideast raising tensions and the potential for conflict, which will eventually lead to an attempted attack on Israel (Ezekiel 38).

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that wars and rumors of wars will be signs indicating the nearing end of the age.

These are signs of the Last Days revealing its time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles (Matthew 16:19) who were authorized described how (Acts 2).

This new birth experience brings peace and joy in the Holy Spirit now in this life, and eternal life in the world to come. As we are saved from the wrath of the Biblical wars of Revelation prophecy that will come upon the world of disobedience as we are appointed instead to salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
