Within 24 hours over Christmas Eve and Day, 2 different series of earthquakes have struck in California and also in Canada that ranged to over 6.0 magnitude.

At least nine earthquakes in 24 hours starting Christmas Eve into Christmas Day, shook California reaching up to one at 3.2 magnitude in the Los Angeles area north to Chico according to U.S. Geological Survey reports.

The other quakes in the swarm ranged from 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude and stretched the length of the state, according to the USGS.

The largest was near Idyllwild, in the San Jacinto mountains east of Los Angeles, at 8:24 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The quake was 9.6 miles deep and was felt as far away as the Rancho Cucamonga and Redondo Beach, the USGS said.

Additionally, a series of five earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 4.8 to 6.0 were recorded in British Columbia.

It was reported four of the five quakes were recorded as striking primarily at Vancouver Island and at the northern end of Victoria Island according to the government’s Earthquakes Canada website.

The quakes were recorded at a magnitude 5.1; a magnitude 5.6; a magnitude 5.8; a magnitude 6.0; and a magnitude 4.8.

And then a much larger 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Christmas eve in the Pacific Ocean off Port Hardy, Canada, west of Vancouver, according to the USGS.

People reported feeling the earthquake in Vancouver, more than 300 miles away. It struck at a depth of 6.2 miles according to the USGS.

There is a long history of notable earthquakes at the time of the Christmas holiday:

Examples are a 5.4-magnitude quake that shook the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico on Christmas Eve 2010; a major 7.6 magnitude earthquake jolted southern Chile on Christmas Day 2016; and off the coast of Sumatra a magnitude 9.1 struck the day after Christmas 2004 with the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami killing about a quarter million people in over a dozen countries; and there have been others.

The Biblical Prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that earthquakes are a sign of the Last Days revealing we are nearing the end of this age and the appearance of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
