People across South Florida recently reported a rumbling with their homes shaking yet there were no explosions or earthquakes that were reported.

The United States Geological Survey did not report any earthquake activity in South Florida at the time people reported the event.

And city officials, while acknowledging the reports by citizens of the rumbling they felt, said there were no explosions in the several counties in which the shaking happened.

Residents across South Florida reported they felt their homes shake, similar to a small earthquake.

One person said her “sliding glass doors and windows shook violently. I’m in West Kendall. Friends as far south as marathon and Islamorada felt it and as far north as Davie and Lauderhill.”

Yet the U.S. Geological Survey, after getting multiple reports of people feeling the shaking, said they have checked and rechecked their seismometers and have no reports of seismic activity.

And the nearby Homestead Air Reserve Base said they were not conducting any flight training drills on that day. So any official cause of the shaking and rumbling is not yet known.

Florida is known for having the fewest earthquakes of any US state because it’s not located near any tectonic plate boundaries. And if any tremor happens there they are rare.

One of the most notable events happened in Miami which took place approximately one year ago, when buildings in Miami had to be evacuated after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake rattled off the coast of Jamaica and it was felt along the east coast of South Florida.

There was a strong 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Guatemala’s capital, which the U.S. Geological Service said the earthquake’s epicenter was located just off Guatemala’s Pacific coast. But the USGS has not linked the earthquake in Guatemala to what people felt in South Florida.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell there will be diverse earthquakes that will happen as signs of the Last Days indicating the nearing end of this age of grace.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
