In a rare move, the US President has been blocked from several main social medias – as they say his rhetoric was responsible for the unprecedented riot yesterday at the US Capitol which forced the members of Congress to flee.

Twitter and Facebook for the first time blocked the President from posting on their sites after rioters stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday after the President had spoke at a large rally in Washington DC.

Snapchat also took action and locked the President’s account.

Facebook initially blocked the President from posting for 24 hours they said for violating policies, with Facebook-owned Instagram announcing the same.

But then Facebook went much further, blocking Trump on both sites “indefinitely”, at the least until the transfer of power to the new president is complete.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post: “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great. Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”

Google-owned YouTube also pulled down videos by the President.

Then YouTube further tightened their policy with the President with an intensification that could accelerate termination of his account if his channel continues to run afoul of it.

These actions by these social media companies came they said amid an increasingly urgent clamor for the social networks to deal with the use of their platforms to spread misinformation, stir grievances and incite violence.

The companies are also facing more pressure from civil rights activists and politicians to do more who say that they were too late and did not do nearly enough to curb such as these problems.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, 2 Timothy 3) foretell that there will be a time of division with offenses and bitterness that will happen as signs of the Last Days indicating the nearing end of this age.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
