Record-breaking rainfall from tropical storm Imelda was devastating to southeastern Texas. As areas were swamped with up to 4 feet of rain over just three days, causing catastrophic flooding that is among the worst in U.S. history.

To put a storm like Imelda into perspective, storms that drop this much rain are estimated to appear once in a millennium, according to precipitation models created by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

But now these storms are not happening just once-in-1000 years. It was just 24 months ago that Hurricane Harvey also drowned the same area of southeast Texas with up to 5 feet of rain.

When Harvey hit it was said to be an event of biblical proportions. The kind that, in previous history, would be expected only once every millennium.

Welcome to a new era. Because now, 1-in-1000 year storms are happening nearly back to back. As Harvey was soon followed by the equally catastrophic storm named Imelda.

And with Imelda also historically dumping so much rain on southeast Texas, so soon after Harvey, it clearly demonstrates the change in the world that enables these extreme events in such succession.

No doubt we have reached a time that is prophetic to where the signs are strongly pointing to the Prophecy of Jesus.

The Biblical Prophecy in Luke 21 foretells that on the earth there will be distress of nations, with perplexity, as the sea and the waves are roaring.

And that is exactly what these super-charged storms are doing, as they roar across the sea and waves bringing to us intense weather from the increasing heat waves.

Lord Jesus foretold these intense storms carried by the seas and waves will  bring distress and perplexity to the nations.

And here in southeast Texas that is exactly how people are feeling from the huge devastation and massive losses from these recurring millennium storms.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy that comes upon the world of disobedience, as the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
