Two earthquakes rattled northern Israel in the span of 24 hours this week which made four earthquakes in Israel in less than 30 days which some are saying is beyond a warning sign.
As the two earthquakes in northern Israel in the span of 24 hours prompted calls from local council heads to improve municipal and national readiness before a severe earthquake disaster strikes in Israel.
The Geological Survey reported that a magnitude 3.1 tremor shook the north on Wednesday morning about 12 hours after a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was felt in the same area on Tuesday evening.
The Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquakes was 15 kilometers (9 miles) northeast of Beit She’an.
The Israeli Police said its emergency center received dozens of calls from residents in the area, adding that no injuries or damage were reported.
These quakes make for four tremors in the span of less than a month for Israel: On Feb. 3, a magnitude 5.4 earthquake occurred in Cyprus and was also felt in Israel.
Ten days prior, residents of Teveria, Tzfas, Yavniel, Haifa and the Krayot area in northern Israel reported feeling a 4.1 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which was 10 miles northeast of Beit She’an, south of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee).
The region council head said, “When this area is struck by a major earthquake – and unfortunately, history has shown it will happen – none of the decision-makers in Israel will be able to say they were surprised by the disaster that will befall us. The writing is on the wall.”
Another local council head called on the Israeli government to take action, “Four earthquakes in less than one month is beyond a warning sign.”
He went on to say, “I call on the State of Israel to allocate budgets immediately to strengthen the old buildings. History proves that once a century there is a significant earthquake. The last one was about 100 years ago. Let’s wake up and prepare in time and soon before it is too late.”
Experts have warned that Israel is due for a major earthquake in the near future that could have devastating results. And the Biblical prophecies describe how there will be severe earthquakes in Israel in the Last Days.
One such earthquake prophecy is concerning the Gog of Magog invasion of Israel described in the Book of Ezekiel in chapter 38.
Where Magog Russia will come led by their leader Gog with their allies as Iran and Turkey invading the mountains of Israel from the north.
Which the prophecy describes how that an infuriated Lord God will then turn nature against their armies to where there is a great earthquake in the north of Israel that brings destruction upon the armies of Gog of Magog.
The Biblical prophecies (Ezekiel 38, Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6, Revelation 11) foretell that there will be earthquakes in the prophetic Last Days signaling the world is nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
