A Mediterranean storm named ‘Daniel’ has caused what some are calling a ‘Biblical’ catastrophe in widespread flooding in the North African nation of Libya.
As the deluge from Storm Daniel inundated entire cities and towns sweeping away entire neighborhoods and complete families as the storm destroyed several coastal towns.
The death toll is huge as it is estimated that up to 20,000 people are believed to have died in the devastating floods across Libya according to the director of al-Bayda medical center.
And ten thousand people are declared missing by official aid agencies such as the Libyan Red Crescent while over 5000 bodies have already been recovered.
Yet its reported that streets and sidewalks of towns are still littered with corpses in what are described as apocalyptic scenes.
According to the minister of civil aviation the scale of devastation appears even worse than officials had initially predicted saying that “the sea is constantly dumping dozens of bodies.”
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Libya said that at least 30,000 people had been displaced in just the one town of Derna.
Which seemed to be ground zero for the Storm Daniel. But there are yet areas of the country from which nothing to little has been heard.
Such is the need to bury the many bodies to avoid the spread of disease that hundreds were being buried collectively in just one grave.
The country of Libya has been engulfed in civil war for years after the fall of Muammar Qaddafi. And is currently divided between two rival regimes that are both supported by foreign governments and militias.
Libya is also called out in Last Days Bible prophecy by the prophet Ezekiel. Where in chapter 38 Libya is stated as being part of the Gog of Magog alliance that “will ascend coming like a storm” against Israel to attack.
And Magog Russia has been on the ground in Libya in recent years aggressively working laying the political and military framework to ensure Libya is a Russian ally.
Libya has long been hostile toward Israel and supportive of the Palestinians. And only two weeks ago leaders in Libya rejected there ever being any form of normalization with Israel. It is illegal for Libya to normalize ties with Israel under a 1957 law.
The Biblical prophecies (Luke 21, Revelation 16) foretell that earth’s weather will intensify in the Last Days to where it can birth apocalyptic storms; and Libya is prophesied to be with Gog of Magog (Ezekiel 38, Ezekiel 39) ascending like a storm against Israel – with this all signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3:3-5) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
