Prophecy of Isaiah 24 said, “Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned.”
NASA is confirming the prophetic climate trend, saying that each of the first six months of 2016 set a record as the warmest respective month globally in the modern temperature record according to scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
2016 is on track to become the hottest year on record which will mark three years in a row that the world’s global temperatures have set records. NASA says two key climate change indicators — global surface temperatures and Arctic sea ice extent — have broken numerous records through the first half of 2016, according to NASA analyses of ground-based observations and satellite data.
While these two key climate indicators have broken records in 2016, NASA scientists said it is more significant that global temperature and Arctic sea ice are continuing their decades-long trends of change. Both trends are ultimately driven by rising concentrations of heat-trapping carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
NASA is describing the record-setting elevation of the heating of the earth just as if the earth is in an oven like the prophecy of Malachi 4 said, “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts.”

rs at the Max Planck Institute and Cyprus Institute have calculated that regions of the earth will soon become so hot that human habitability is compromised. From their atmospheric research they are convinced that climate change will have a major impact on the environment and the health of people in regions of the world with prolonged heat waves and dust storms that can render some regions uninhabitable which will contribute to the pressure to migrate. Obviously, this could also contribute to regional conflict as nation states compete for precious water resources.
The global trend in rising temperatures is outpaced by the regional warming in the Arctic, said Walt Meier, a sea ice scientist at NASA Goddard. “It has been a record year so far for global temperatures, but the record high temperatures in the Arctic over the past six months have been even more extreme,” Meier said. “This warmth as well as unusual weather patterns have led to the record low sea ice extents so far this year.”
NASA describes rising record heat as well as unusual weather patterns confirming global trends pointing toward the Signs of the Last Days Prophecy. The Revelation 16 prophecy says:
“Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.”
But the Lord’s raptured people will not suffer this for the prophecy says earlier in Revelation 7 that, “… they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who
sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
