Another 50 Americans have been killed violently in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history in Orlando showing that the conflict between Islamic and Western culture continues. The American and European governments of the West have had tolerance for and then institutionalized support for other cultural lifestyles.
But for Islamists, such a tolerant western culture is an affront to their belief system. The culture and lifestyles of the modern states of the West are in direct conflict with them.
For Christians that follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, they realize what of these lifestyles are outside the boundaries of acceptance by Divine Scripture, but they are also bound by the Divine teachings to love all souls in peace and are to respond with prayer and by sharing the Word of God in the Holy Scriptures.
However, the Islamic canonical law is a rules system with retributive penalties for lawbreaking that justify severe punitive acts in response to the perceived evil without the consideration of grace or mercy; and call for the Islamist to carry out the punishment in the name of Islam.
This is why traditional Islamists feel they should fly jets into New York world trade towers or shoot up military bases and night clubs, whether in Paris, France or Orlando, U.S.A.; and countries as Iran can call America the Great Satan and others mete out capital punishment for apostasy or immorality.
So inherently, there is a basic conflict between Islamists and the modernistic culture of the West, and it continues.
Now, another 50 Americans have been killed violently in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history in Orlando, in yet another of many continuing Islamist attacks around the world. Regardless of how one viewed their lifestyle, these were souls Christ loved and died for just as much as any of us; for God is no respecter of persons and we all are born sinners. And as Christians we need to pray for their families and friends, and our country in this grievous loss.
But the Signs of the Last Days ™ from the Daniel and Revelation prophecies tell us this Islamic and Western conflict that radiates out from the Middle East area of the Euphrates River to the Western countries drawing them in will continue until leading to significant prophetic fulfillments of the Last Days.
As we watch and pray, remember “… when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21
