Saying they’ve found evidence that results may have been manipulated or hacked, Clinton is being urged to call for a recount in three swing states won by Donald Trump critical to the presidential election.
Clinton has continued to widen her lead to over 2 million votes in the popular vote giving rise to a push by activist supporters to demand a recount and to a potential mutiny by some electors in the electoral college who have signed onto an attempt to block Donald Trump from winning an electoral college majority saying he is unfit to serve. A petition, named “Electoral College: Make Hillary Clinton President on Dec. 19,” had the goal of 4.5 million signatures and has already reached 4.4 million.
The analyst’s findings do not prove that the results in the three states were hacked or manipulated but the group said they are arguing to her campaign that the evidence of a suspicious pattern they discovered merits an independent review.
Clinton allies are intent on pushing the issue but the Clinton camp is running out of time to challenge the election. It’s also reported the White House is concerned with any recount wanting to stay focused on a smooth transition of power.
