Iran has reached a world record thermal high temperature of 129.2 degrees and some say it is an indication that the middle eastern country is being divinely singled out for punishment.
It was reported that if the reading is accurate, it could tie the hottest temperature ever measured on Earth in modern times.
The Bible has described divine retribution coming through extreme natural conditions.
In the Old Testament Malachi 4:1 said “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch.”
