Just like the Biblical plague that struck Egypt, suddenly a river in Islamic Indonesia, the Bah Bolon known to locals as “the King’s Bathhouse”, has turned bright blood-red.
Indonesia has a larger Muslim population than any other country in the world.
The river meanders through the city of Pematangsiantar before flowing through the outlying village where the people build their houses directly on its banks. The river is their life and their livelihood, as it waters their fields and provides fish where the people build pools on the edges of the river in which to catch the fish.
The normally pristine Bah Bolon River, a source of life-giving water for irrigation and drinking, normally teeming with life, became choked with dead fish.
The sudden, deadly change in the river has turned their once idyllic existence into a more hellish one.
Their inexplicable plague conforms to the description of God’s punishment of Egypt in the Exodus, which tells of the Nile turning blood red which poisoned the fish killing all sea life.
No one is really sure yet what caused this particular change.
But this disturbing Signs of the Last Days phenomenon has appeared recently in different parts of the world such as an occurrence when the Daldykan River located in Russia above the Arctic Circle turned bright red.
For Biblical believers, the image of a blood-red river evokes a stark message. The Egyptians and Pharaoh worshiped the Nile as a god. Striking at the Egyptian River by God was an irrefutable reminder to the Egyptians and Pharaoh that no matter how advanced or powerful Man is, he will always be dependent and subservient to his Creator.
The Last Days Prophecies in Revelation foretell that in the future mankind will learn this lesson again, but on a worldwide Biblical scale. The Revelation 16 prophecy foretells that the seas, rivers, and springs will turn blood red.
Then the angel of judgment will say, “You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”
