The European Union’s top foreign-policy official, Federica Mogherini, has announced in New York a plan to create a new financial payment system to where the EU member states will set up a legal entity to facilitate legitimate financial transactions separate from the US.

Their plan is made even more credible in that the EU is joined in the new plan by Germany, France, Britain, China and Russia to create the special financial infrastructure which will be a credible challenge to the U.S. dollar’s long global dominance.

This is being driven by Europe’s efforts to save the Iran nuclear deal by creating this “special purpose vehicle” for trade with Iran that will exclude the US and its sanctions against Iran and this will allow European companies to continue trading with Iran.

When U.S. sanctions were re-imposed on Iran after President Donald Trump pulled the US out of the 2016 agreement that severely restricted the Iranian nuclear program, this made it virtually impossible for an entity with any U.S. exposure to do business with Iran.

It became clear to the Europeans, the Chinese and the Russians that any future transactions with Iran must go through entities insulated from the American financial system.

Their response is a new banking architecture in response to the U.S. sanctions, relying on a system of gateway banks in Europe and special purpose vehicles established by European governments, in that Germany, France and the U.K. would set up a multinational state-backed financial intermediary that would deal with companies interested in Iran transactions and with Iranian counter-parties.

Such transactions would presumably be in euros and would not be transparent to American authorities.  The system will also be open to Russia and China as well.

Iran is only a convenient pretext since the Iran nuclear agreement is one of the few things that unite the EU, China and Russia against the U.S.; but it’s more about a step that serves to accelerate European efforts to create a defensible banking architecture apart from the US as the end goal for not only the Europeans, but China and Russia as well.

China and Russia have long sought this, but it’s only with Europe, as home of the world’s second biggest reserve currency, that they stand a chance of challenging American dominance.

And in the recent State of the European Union speech, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker called for strengthening the euro’s international role and moving away from traditional dollar invoicing in foreign trade.

And such a new financial payment system revolving around the European Union and joined by Russia and China can be the basis for the financial payment system foretold in the prophecy of the Book of Revelation without which no one can buy or sell.

Where a world leader known as the Antichrist coming out of a European base will use such a system of financial payment as one of his methods of controlling his world order.
