Israel’s UN ambassador Danny Danon addressed a special session of the UN Security Council, during which he outlined four pillars he said “prove the case for Jewish ownership of the Land of Israel.”

In order, Danon listed the four pillars as “the Bible, history, international law, and the pursuit of international peace and security.”

Ambassador Danon read from the Bible in Genesis chapter 17 to the UN council, where God said He made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his descendants in their generations afterwards for all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession.

Danon lifted the Bible high describing to the council that Israel has a divine deed to its land in the Bible. You can watch his speech below; his Bible reference is at about minute 3:00 :

Before the session, they also took part in a collective moment of silence for victims of the recent attacks on synagogues.

Danon said it was “unacceptable that we live in a time in which worshipers must be on guard or look behind their backs while praying out of fear of being shot,” noting how Jewish worshipers have been gunned down recently.

The Israeli ambassador also repeatedly slammed the Palestinians, who he said routinely demonstrated they do not want peace.

And he said for there to be real peace that four things must be realized: the Palestinians must accept and recognize the Jewish State of Israel; the Palestinians must end their campaign of incitement; there must be regional cooperation; and Israel must not compromise its security.

The Biblical prophecies (Zechariah 14, Luke 21, Revelation 11) foretell that Israel and Jerusalem will become the focus of the world in the Last Days signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
