In an action like what the Chinese government did in Wuhan, a U.S. governor has closed all roads into a US city in an effort to try and stop the spread of Coronavirus.

The Governor of New Mexico invoked the state’s Riot Control Act to lock-down the city of Gallup with all roads closed into the city after its mayor made the request.

Under the control act, all roads leading into Gallup are now closed off “to mitigate the uninhibited spread of COVID-19 in that city.”

Gallup, a city of nearly 22,000 people about 100 miles west of Albuquerque, has been reeling from the impact of the coronavirus.

McKinley County, where Gallup is located, is the county where now the highest number of cases are located in all of New Mexico.

The quarantine of the city was done, according to the governor, since the county has the most positive cases in the entire state, outstripping even far more populous counties, and the infection trend has shown no sign of flattening.

In addition to closing roads into the city, under the Riot Control Act, the governor can also prohibit people from being on public streets, among other broad emergency restrictions.

The governor said residents should shelter in place “unless absolutely necessary for health or safety or a medical emergency.”

Anyone who fails to comply with the restrictions will be found guilty of a misdemeanor, or a fourth-degree felony if they are found to be breaking the rules more than once.

The Chinese government also quarantined the city of Wuhan closing down all transportation into the city during the coronavirus epidemic there.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24) describe that pestilence will be a sign which indicates the beginning of the end of this age of grace called the “beginning of sorrows.”

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
