An extreme and dangerous heat wave has hit the northwestern U.S. smashing records as oppressive and unprecedented heat is felt throughout the Pacific Northwest with record-breaking temperatures.

Intense, prolonged, unprecedented, abnormal, are some of the words that the National Weather Service has used describing the historic heat wave hitting the Pacific Northwest.

Daytime temperatures have pushed into the triple digits disrupting Olympic qualifying events and breaking all-time high temperature records in places unaccustomed to such extreme heat.

Portland, Oregon, reached 112 degrees Fahrenheit breaking the all-time temperature record of 108 F, which was set just a day earlier.

In Eugene, Oregon, the U.S. track and field trials were halted and fans were asked to evacuate the stadium due to the extreme heat. The National Weather Service said it hit 110 F in Eugene, breaking the all-time record of 108 F.

Oregon’s capital city, Salem, also recorded the highest temperature in its history of 112 F, breaking the old mark by 4 degrees.

The temperature hit 104 F in Seattle. The NWS said that was an all-time record for the city better known for rain than heat and was the first time the area recorded two consecutive triple digit days since records began being kept in 1894.

There were also power outages with rolling blackouts as Portland General Electric and Puget Sound Energy reported some customers were without electricity.

The heat wave also moved into Idaho, where temperatures above 100 F are forecast in Boise for at least seven days starting Monday. The high temperatures were also forecast to move into western Montana.

The scorching weather is caused by an extended “heat dome” parked over the Pacific Northwest. Which is a region more known for its rain and cooler temperatures in the past. Where many do not have air conditioning and are not accustomed to heat.

As now a historic and life-threatening heat is in the Pacific Northwest, the likes of which has never been experienced before in that part of the country.

The Biblical prophecies (Revelation 16) foretell in the future how the earth will become so hot from the sun that it will scorch humanity, as record heatwaves are now signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
