A massive fire broke out in a hotel in Killeen, Texas, after the building’s sprinkler systems failed to work due to frozen pipes.
The Killeen Fire Department arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Killeen to find “fire coming from the roof above the fourth floor of the four-story hotel,” according to a statement from the fire department.
“Firefighting efforts were hindered due to automatic sprinkler system being out of service because of frozen pipes,” the fire department said.
The hotel was reportedly at full capacity at the time of the fire, and all 102 of its rooms were in use.
The fire department transported some of the displaced guests from the fire to the Skyline Baptist Church, and the American Red Cross had been contacted to assist them, according to a statement.
According to the Killeen Professional Fire Fighters’ Association, some of their crews have not been home in 96 hours, as they have been forced to respond to 170 calls for service each day for the last six days.
And in San Antonio, Texas, some 130 residents were evacuated from a massive blaze at an apartment complex where responding fire crews were met by frozen fire hydrants which greatly hampered their efforts.
It was a desperate situation as water tenders carrying thousands of gallons of water had to be called in from across the region to help battle the blaze.
The apartment complex reportedly collapsed as the blaze consumed the building as they repeatedly ran out of water to fight it.
The Biblical prophecies foretell that there will be extreme weather in the Last Days (Luke 21, Revelation 8, Revelation 11, Revelation 16) as the earth’s weather will continue to intensify—signaling we are nearing the end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
