Animals in Africa are dying by the hundreds as a result of severe drought and the resulting famine causing an emergency after the rains never came.

Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority said over 200 elephants have died in Hwange National Park alone since October and other parks are affected.

And other animals including giraffe, buffalo, and impala are also dying they said with the situation only able to improve after the rains would return.

Spokesman Tinashe Farawo said “Almost every animal is being affected. Of course, elephants are easily noticed during patrols or game drives, but some bird species are seriously affected because they can only breed in certain tree heights and those trees are being knocked down by elephants.”

Many animals are also straying from Zimbabwe’s parks into nearby communities in search of food and water. The parks agency has said 33 people have died from conflict with animals this year alone.

The agency said it plans to move 600 elephants, two prides of lions and other animals from the Save Valley Conservancy in the southeast to less congested parks. A pack of wild dogs, 50 buffalo, 40 giraffe and 2,000 impalas also will be relocated, Farawo said.

The animals “have exceeded their ecological carrying capacity,” he said. “If the populations go unchecked, the animals will threaten the very ecosystem they depend on for survival.”

Zimbabwe, which is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, declared a national emergency after the yearly October rains never materialized.

Watering holes dried up and became mud pits, trapping animals that tried to reach what little water was left.

Scientists have forecast that mega-droughts are coming due to dramatic weather shifts that will linger causing severe water shortages as whats happening here in Africa.

And signs of the apocalyptic prophecies ( Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 16 ) as extreme heat are here and increasing as drought, water shortages, and famine become more acute in the world.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
