A lawsuit filed by two presidential electoral college electors as part of a strategy to stop the election of Donald Trump should be treated as an attempt to destroy the Electoral College and create constitutional chaos, says the attorney general of the State of Colorado.
Saying that the court should not countenance their attempt to dismantle the Electoral College from within. That it should reject as an affront to the nation’s model of democracy the effort to disenfranchise voters by replacing choice of candidates with the Plaintiffs’ own personal opinions about who is fit for the office of President.
And that holding otherwise would cause chaos.
