An American has been placed in a bio-containment center in Nebraska after possibly being exposed to Ebola while recently providing medical assistance in Congo, according to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health.

The person, who has not been identified, went to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for monitoring, the release states, adding the Nebraska Medical Center is home to one of the nation’s few dedicated bio-containment units.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is going through one of the deadliest Ebola outbreaks in history. It is the second-largest Ebola outbreak in history, which began in August and has already infected more than 600 and killed more than 300.

The American, the Nebraska release states, is not an official patient but federal, state and county public health officials plan to monitor the person in a secure area not accessible by the public or any patients.

Pestilence is foretold in the Biblical prophecies as in Matthew 24 to be a sign of the Last Days.
