Across the US there are signs how the US coronavirus pandemic will get worse as the top US government doctor says Americans are not taking it serious.

The US surgeon general warned that the coronavirus outbreak in the US may be on track to reach the same levels as Italy if Americans don’t get serious about social distancing.

With the surgeon general also saying the current number of cases in America now is comparable to what disease-stricken Italy notched two weeks ago.

And the US surgeon general has revealed why America’s pandemic can get worse and perhaps as bad as Italy. Because Americans have not taken the pestilence seriously and done so quickly.

Even after many authorities had ordered public places to close and warned people not to gather, there have still been scenes across America of places still open and people gathering in large crowds, as they have resisted following the guidance of authorities.

Last week tens of thousands of people in huge crowds hit the sandy beaches, restaurants, clubs, and parties in Florida for spring break.

And people at the beaches and parties were interviewed by the media and they said “If I get corona, I get corona. At the end of the day, I’m not going to let it stop me from partying.”

And that’s the thing. Americans are used to their freedom and doing what they want, when and where they want, and don’t want anything to inconvenience it.

But now those college and university adults who would not take the guidance seriously about stopping the spread of coronavirus are learning the hard way, that they can spread the virus and become ill themselves.

As they are now also starting to get positive coronavirus test results with those among them also being hospitalized. And New York’s Governor said that people from 18-to-49 now account for more than half of the state’s coronavirus cases.

Last week I went out to get some grocery items and wore my facemask and gloves. But nowhere did I see in my area anyone else wearing any type of protection, not even in retail or other services interacting constantly with the public — and noticed that people were still not social distancing.

Americans are use to having their freedom and going about their lives in their own way, and it seems they will not begin to truly distance themselves, use protection, or really isolate until things probably get severe.

And that goes for US officials as well. As they are loathe to use the “L” word (lock-down) and their stay-at-home orders, for now, are actually nothing more than putting Americans on notice they are on the honor system.

As it seems the US could be making the same mistake that Italy did, to not take coronavirus serious enough, quick enough.

This was the mistake of the US government who with at least a 2 month lead time before it struck the US thought that it won’t’ come here and it won’t be bad. So there was not a strategy or plan put in place ahead of time and America is still trying to catch up while the numbers of sick people pile up.

Which is exactly what the US surgeon general was revealing in his statements. When today he also said that Americans are still not taking this seriously, as people are still flocking to the beaches and heading to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to view the cherry blossom trees that bloom each year.

And because Americans are not taking this pandemic seriously, he said things are going to get bad.

And likewise, for some time now, Americans have not been taking the prophecies of the Holy Bible seriously as they did in the past of this country. Lets hope and pray now that they do again and there is a turning back to God.

Jesus in His Biblical Prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) said that pestilence will be a sign of the Last Days indicating the nearing end of this age of grace. And it’s happening, just like the Bible says.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
