The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have become the latest Arab states to break a long-standing taboo when they signed agreements normalizing relations with Israel at the White House with President Trump presiding.
US President Donald Trump hosted the White House ceremony for the deals today capping a dramatic month in which the UAE and then also Bahrain agreed to reverse decades of ill will.
This could be the beginning of a strategic realignment of Middle Eastern countries as they stand together against Iran without a resolution of Israel’s decades-old dispute with the Palestinians.
President Trump declared the “dawn of a new Middle East” as he presided over the signing of the two historic Middle East diplomatic deals between Israel and the two Gulf nations.
The deals make UAE and Bahrain the third and fourth Arab states to take steps to normalize ties since Israel signed peace treaties with Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994.
At the US-brokered event, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the foreign ministers of both the UAE and Bahrain were present to sign the deals at the ceremony.
Trump signed onto each one as a witness. The leaders also signed a separate trilateral declaration of peace.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s foreign minister, said “we are already witnessing a change in the heart of the Middle East, a change that will send hope around the world.”
Netanyahu said, “This day is a pivot of history, it heralds a new dawn of peace. For thousands of years the Jewish people have prayed for peace, for decades the Jewish state has prayed for peace, and this is why today we are filled with such profound gratitude.”
And Trump said, “You’re going to have peace in the Middle East,” adding that other countries were also getting to the point where they also wanted to make a deal.
The agreements, known as the “Abraham Accords” also allow Muslims to visit Islamic holy sites in Israel. Trump said the deals would form “the foundation for a comprehensive peace across the entire region.”
The Biblical Prophecies (Daniel 9, 1 Thessalonians 5, Revelation 6) foretell that there will be a desire for peace in the Middle East with Israel in the Last Days that lays the foundation for a Holy Covenant made with Israel and many in the region. Which is a prophetical pivot point launching fulfillment of the End of Days prophecies.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
