A big meteor fireball was seen over Gloucestershire sparking hundreds of reports of sightings prompting warnings from experts for the public not to touch the meteorite debris fragments.
Pieces of meteor debris are believed to have landed in Cheltenham or nearby after the yellow-green fireball was visible for around six seconds on Sunday night.
There have now been more than 900 reports of sightings to the International Meteor Organization (IMO), which have come from as far away as Belgium and the Netherlands.
Scientists are now appealing to members of the public in an attempt to find pieces of the meteorite, which would be the first recovered in the UK for three decades.
Planetary geoscientists said this is the first fireball they think has dropped a substantial amount of mass. But the scientists are saying if people do find meteorite debris on the ground to not touch it or affect it.
Since they say that could instantly erase the original condition of the magnetic signature preserved on meteorites which helps them to analyze them. So they asked people preserve any meteorite debris for the experts.
This same area of Gloucestershire has also had a previous report of strange trumpet soundings in the sky. In recent times there have been reports by people of loud trumpet sounds heard in the sky around the world.
And it was reported a Gloucester woman said she heard a weird sound one morning. The woman, who did not want to be identified, said it seemed to come from the sky and the trumpet was loud.
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven signaling the world is nearing the end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
