The massive 7.3 magnitude earthquake in Japan is now reported to have caused a fuel leak at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

Fears were sparked that the nuclear power plant may have been damaged by this new powerful earthquake even though it was sealed off and concreted over after the previous disaster there.

According to Japanese public broadcaster NHK, there were concerning reports of a leak at the Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power plant with pool water used for storing spent nuclear fuel having leaked and contaminated the surrounding area.

But initially it was denied by the facility owners. However since then, a patrol of the plant area did report a leak from spent nuclear fuel that had leaked into a ditch.

And now they are saying the amount of the leak is small, the radiation dose is low, so there is no concern about exposure to people. The utility owner also said there was no change in the radiation levels around the nuclear plants.

Yet they also said that structural damage was still being assessed with surveys being done at the nuclear plant.

This is also the same location where the great 9.0 Japan earthquake and tsunami happened in 2011. The devastating 9.0 tremor struck Japan’s coast followed minutes later by a massive tsunami with 100 foot waves killing tens of thousands of people.

This event also caused meltdowns at the Fukushima nuclear plant – the world’s worst global nuclear crisis since Chernobyl –resulting in massive radioactive contamination in Japan and to the Pacific Ocean.

Seaborne radiation from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster has since been detected on U.S. and Canadian west coast’s seawater with the Fukushima isotope also detected in fish populations as well.

The Fukushima disaster site still poses to this day severe radiation risks for the world. As it still houses a 1,000 large steel tanks of nuclear-contaminated water and hundreds of tons of molten fuel in concrete containment vessels at the edge of the ocean.

And now this new 7.3-M severe earthquake, that came just a little less than a month before the 10th anniversary of the great 9.0 Japan earthquake and tsunami that caused the Fukushima nuclear disaster, not only rocked Japan but is sparking new fears of another nuclear disaster there.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that there will be earthquakes as a sign of the Last Days indicating the nearing end of this age.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
