In 2017 they’ve been hit with fire-storms 100 feet high and 100 miles wide turning towns to ash. Then a disease outbreak killed many and infected hundreds. Will there be an earthquake next?
The fire-storms from high temperatures and winds, and the disease outbreaks as well in California, are valid Signs of the Last Days prophecies indicating we are in the Last Days near the end of this age.
But earthquakes are also mentioned along with these in Matthew 24 as physical manifestations of the Signs of the Last Days.
And the experts have been saying for some time that California is due for what they call the big one. They say a huge earthquake will hit California and its just a matter of when.
In 2017 we’ve had eclipse of the sun, massive back-to-back super-storms, never before seen firestorms, and disease outbreak.
In this season of disaster in 2017, is an earthquake the next sign of the coming Great Tribulation that could hit America?
Already this year the Northwestern part of Los Angeles was shaken by a smaller earthquake in the Santa Monica mountains.
That same week, a massive 7.1 magnitude quake struck Mexico, causing widespread damage and loss of life including in the densely-populated capital, Mexico City.
That event was a reminder that the chances of a similarly violent incident striking the state of California are strong. The system that is causing these quakes in Mexico is by and large similar to what’s happening in California with tectonic plates sliding past one another.
Experts say the San Andreas fault in southern California last had a major quake in 1857 (magnitude 7.9) and studies that have dated previous major offsets along the fault trace indicate that there have been about 10 major quakes over the past 1,000-2,000 years.
The average time between these quakes is about 100-150 years. That means we could be due another one soon.
These are Signs of the Last Days from the Matthew 24 and Revelation Prophecies revealing mankind is near the end of this age and the beginning of the Great Tribulation of earth.
