A celestial event in the heavens of a solar eclipse passed over Israel which in the Bible Scriptures can have great significance including as a harbinger of the end-of-days.
According to the Israel Space Agency, Israelis experienced the partial solar eclipse on Tuesday passing over Israel beginning at 12:58, peaking at 2:11, and ending at 3:22 PM, with people in Israel seeing about half of the Sun eclipsed.
There was about half of the Gentile world that also saw the moon’s shadow creep over the surface of the Sun with Israel in this solar eclipse.
Though the eclipse was just partial, with most viewers seeing between 40% and 60% of the Sun’s surface obscured by the moon at the eclipse’s peak, the event nonetheless drew out watchers of the heavens from around the world.
The eclipse was visible from most of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the western parts of Asia, beginning in the U.K.
According to the Israel Space Agency, it will be another five years until a solar eclipse is visible in Israel again, with the next one on August 2, 2027. The 2027 event will be a total solar eclipse.
Israel’s Jewish tradition of the Talmud considers solar eclipses as being a bad sign for the nations that base their calendars on the solar cycle. And that solar eclipses are a harbinger of the end-of-days nearing.
The Holy Bible Scriptures prophesy that such astronomical phenomenon as eclipse of the Sun will happen in the future along with other signs as harbingers of the end-time.
The Holy Lord Jesus in His Bible prophecies foretold that there will be signs in the Sun, in the Moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity.
And the Bible prophecy in Acts chapter 2 when Lord Jesus started His Church describes how that the Sun shall be turned into darkness before the great and notable day of the Lord come.
And these celestial phenomena are being seen when there is increasing distress among the nations over the Arab-Israeli conflict in Israel and Jerusalem and over the aggression of Gog of Magog reminding us we are in the Last Days.
The Biblical prophecies (Luke 21, Acts 2, Revelation 6) foretell that there will be signs in the heavens as eclipses of the Sun signaling the world is nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
