The police in Moscow, Idaho, arrested Christians for participating in an outdoor worship service where they were singing church hymns and Bible psalms outdoors.
Reports say that about 150 people attended the event, organized by Christ Church, a Reformed evangelical church.
The Christ Church pastor and organizer of the event, said the church hosts psalm, or hymn, events about once a month at places like Friendship Square, East City Park or a house.
The Moscow Police Department listed the reasons for the arrests as “public health emergency order” violations evidently meaning the Christians were arrested for singing while not wearing a mask.
Media of the arrests shows the church body singing the hymn “Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow” as police officers place people into handcuffs.
There were complaints that authorities were selectively enforcing mandate orders.
Where for an outdoor wedding presided over by the mayor with council members and law enforcement in attendance, there were no masks.
While for the church outdoor worship service the mayor had the police department there enforcing his orders.
And in the U.S. at large, for example in Seattle and in Portland, for certain areas of towns and certain type demonstrations, authorities and police took more of a hands off approach not enforcing masks or social distancing.
It’s amazing the things that are happening now in the country as the signs of the Last Days prophecies are increasingly manifesting in society.
The Biblical prophecies of Jesus (Matthew 24) foretell that pestilence will be a sign which indicates the beginning of the end of this age of grace, and that then the authorities will deliver up Christians to tribulation.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
