A slight but majority of American adults say Jesus was a great teacher and nothing more during his lifetime according to a study reported by Newsweek.
The 2020 survey found 52 percent of U.S. adults say they believe Jesus Christ is not God — a belief that contradicts the teachings of the Bible, which states Jesus was both man and God.
Also, nearly one-third of evangelicals in the survey agreed that Jesus isn’t God, compared to 65 percent who said “Jesus is the first and greatest being created by God.”
The findings of the survey were collected from 3,000 Americans, including 630 self-described evangelicals.
About 44 percent of respondents in the survey agreed that because Jesus was simultaneously a man and God, he also committed sins like any other mortal being.
But for people to increasingly deny that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh and say He was a sinner that was just a peasant teacher from Nazareth in the first century, is a strong sign of the Last Days prophecies happening as foretold by Lord Jesus and His Apostles 2000 years ago.
Where Jesus foretold (Matthew 24) that at the end of this age iniquity would abound to where the love of many would grow cold. And the report of this survey is a sure sign of the prophecy coming to pass.
As individuals grow coldly distant toward the truths of the Holy Bible that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16) and tempted in all points as we are yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
And instead they engage in iniquity toward the Holy Bible being lawless in that they do not allow themselves to be bound to what is said in Holy Scripture.
This is the spirit of anti-christ, who denies that Jesus is the Christ (1 John 2:22) by which we know that it is the last hour (1 John 2:18).
For every spirit or attitude that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the anti-christ, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world (1 John 4:3).
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-christ (2 John 1:7).
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24) are shockingly being fulfilled today as society increasingly abandons the solid rock of Bible Truth for sinking sand as signs increase we are nearing the appearance of Jesus Christ for His born-again Church at the end of this age of grace.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
