More than 100 wildfires are raging in eastern Australia, and thousands of firefighters are battling the blazes amid brutally dry conditions reported to likely get worse in the coming months.

There were also nearly 70 fires burning in New South Wales – the most populous state in Australia – and more than 70 in neighboring Queensland.

It was reported that three people had died and hundreds of homes had been razed by the fires. Police also said the remains of one man were found in a burned forest in northeast New South Wales.

According to their Rural Fire Service, recent days were “exceptional fire danger” with 19 fires there that reached the “Emergency Warning” level.

Three areas of NSW were warned of “catastrophic” conditions, the highest of Australia’s six-point fire danger scale.

3,000 firefighters were deployed in addition to thousands of other police and emergency service workers in a 621 mile fire edge perimeter that has burned more than a million hectares.

Queensland has declared a state of emergency in 42 “local government areas,” which prohibits people from doing things that could start fires such as welding or using outdoor cooking fires that aren’t fully enclosed.

Australia is just now heading into summer, and hot, dry conditions are expected to continue from the crippling drought they are suffering making fire conditions even worse.

In an Australian government report, scientists concluded that “there has been a long-term increase in extreme fire weather, and in the length of the fire season, across large parts of Australia.”

Extreme heat, drought, and wildfires are becoming more severe in the world as signs of the nearing Biblical Prophecies coming fulfillment (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 16).

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
