Israel has just experienced its hottest recorded day ever — meaning in at least 100 years.

As the southern coastal resort city of Eilat recorded an unprecedented 48.9°C (120°F) high, as reported by Israel’s Channel 12.

Extreme humidity was also reported in coastal cities throughout the country while dry-spells were recorded in the Jordan Valley and other desert areas.

The Israel Meteorological Service said temperatures throughout the country were expected to drop slightly before tapering off further in the coming days, but would remain above the seasonal average.

Thousands of residents from the surrounding area in central Israel were left sweltering from the heat without air conditioning after power outages were reported.

Emergency medics have scrambled to keep up with heat-related injuries nationwide.

Magen David Adom medics treated 186 people across the country for heat-related injuries with fifty-six of those people having fainted, and 17 of them suffered dehydration.

Two other Israelis were evacuated to hospitals in critical condition due to heatstroke, including a 50-year-old man who was found lying unconscious on the street in the northern town of Kiryat Shmona.

The Biblical Prophecies (Revelation 16) foretell that the heat from the Sun will become so extreme on earth in the Last days that it will scorch humanity with great heat and fire at the end of this age.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
