Earth sizzled in July and became the hottest month in 142 years of recordkeeping, according to U.S. weather officials.
As extreme heat waves have struck the United States and Europe, beating the previous temperature records set in July 2016 and tied again in 2019 and 2020, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said.
The last seven Julys, from 2015 to 2021, have been the hottest seven Julys on record, according to NOAA climatologists.
NOAA Administrator Rick Spinrad described this first place as the worst place to be. Adding that another new record shows we are on a disturbing and disruptive path that is set for the globe.
Pennsylvania State University climate scientist Michael Mann described the record as an exclamation mark on a summer of unprecedented heat, drought, and wildfires.
The scientists say what is driving the record-setting heat is warming on land and specifically what shattered it is the rising land temperature over the Northern Hemisphere.
And the extreme heat continues in August. One day before NOAA’s announcement, hit nearly 120 degrees Fahrenheit, appearing to smash a European heat record.
The Biblical prophecies (Revelation 16) foretell in the future how the earth will become so hot from the sun that it will scorch humanity, as record heat, fires, and drought are now signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
