How weird is it going to get in the Last Days? Just when we thought 2020 could not be worse, there are news headlines like right out of a science fiction movie.

Where 8 Texas towns south of Houston were warned by authorities to not use the water from their system due to fears that a brain eating parasite had invaded their water supply.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued the water advisory to residents served by the Brazosport Water Authority, warning customers not to use the water due to the presence of Naegleria fowleri, a brain-eating parasite, that was found in the water supply.

The water warning advised people not to use their tap water for any purpose, no drinking, no cooking, no bathing, nothing except for flushing toilets.

The authorities discovered this when a child got sick with the brain eating amoeba, and his contact with it was traced back to the water at the boy’s home from the water system.

The latest on this is that Texas local authorities have lifted the water warning for 7 of the towns, but there is still a warning in place for the town of Lake Jackson, Texas.

Health experts say that the brain eating amoeba is suppose to be rare, but experts also say people infected with the parasite die 95% of the time since it eats away on the brain.

And the previous incidents you do hear of it have typically been isolated one-off situations of exposure out in nature in lakes and rivers.

We have never heard of this brain-eating parasite invading the water supply of towns before. But in 2020, now we have. And it’s just weird.

But the Bible prophecies foretell that weird is suppose to come in the Last Days of this age. The Lord Jesus foretold that pestilences would come, but He also warned that normal would be left behind where things would get weird.

In fact, He described it would get so weird that people would get so freaked out, where even people’s hearts would fail them from fear (Luke 21) and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth.

And the prophecies say it will get even weirder for the world in the future.

Revelation talks about (Revelation 13) a false prophet calling fire down from the sky deceiving people, and then it talks about an image, which is a statue I guess, that comes alive and starts talking to people. And then has them put to death if they don’t worship the Anti-Christ.

And the prophecies (Revelation 9) also describe demon locusts coming up on earth from hell that torment people. So there’s a lot more weird that is coming for the world.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
