With the escalation of violence between Israel and the Palestinians, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) is voicing concern about possible war crimes.

The Israeli army and Palestinian militants have continued exchanging deadly fire since the violence around the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

And the office of the chief prosecutor for this world court said on Twitter, “I note with great concern the escalation of violence in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as in and around Gaza, and the possible commission of crimes under the Rome Statute.”

The International Criminal Court or ICC, is a world court founded upon a treaty adopted by the UN General Assembly at a conference in Rome; and after being ratified by more than sixty countries, the Rome Statute entered into force establishing this world court.

The Rome statue, as it is called, provides the ICC jurisdiction over four categories of crimes among the nations under international law: which are genocide, crimes against humanity, crimes of aggression, and war crimes.

And after a five-year preliminary probe, the ICC chief prosecutor has already cited a “reasonable basis to believe” that war crimes could have been committed by Israel, in the West Bank, in East Jerusalem, and in the Gaza Strip.

Israel has already received a letter from the ICC formally describing the scope of its war crimes investigation against them. But Israel, which is not a member of the ICC, has stated that it will not cooperate with the investigation.

And now the ICC chief prosecutor is monitoring the continuing developments on the ground in the current Israeli-Palestinian violence to also factor that into their war crimes investigation as well.

If the International Criminal Court of the world’s nations will cite Israel for war crimes, this could be used as part of the future legal basis for the invasion of Israel by the Antichrist as foretold in the prophecies of the Holy Bible.

The Biblical prophecies (Daniel 8, Zechariah 12/14, Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that the nations led by Anti-christ will invade Israel and Jerusalem signaling the nearing end of the age and return of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
