Increasing Number Of Close Asteroids In 2020 With New Record

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryGeneral

A surprising number of asteroids in 2020 have buzzed past the earth with them increasingly coming ever closer to the planet until there was a new record set for the closest asteroid flyby.

And despite supposedly improved technology observing the heavens by the likes of NASA, a large number of these asteroids are not even being seen until they whisk past the earth.

Some are even calling 2020 the year of the asteroid.

The year started out in ominous fashion in January as 14 asteroids were reported to be on track to pass Earth with one measuring wider than the Empire State Building is tall.

Then in April an asteroid known as 1998 OR2 measuring between 1.1 and 2.5 miles wide and traveling at a speed of around 19,500 mph (miles per hour) was classified as  “potentially hazardous”  as it made a close approach to the Earth.

And 10 newly-discovered asteroids with a close approach within 1 lunar distance (closer than the moon) were discovered in October 12 to 18, 2020, and 9 newly-discovered asteroid flybys were detected from October 15 to 18.

Since the start of 2020 there are now 84 known asteroids to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance. This marking a significant increase in detection and flybys of asteroids within 1 lunar distance in such a short period of time.

And 2020 now holds the record for the closest asteroid flyby and no one saw it coming.

When asteroid 2020 QG zoomed past Earth getting as close as 1,830 miles away marking the closest asteroid flyby ever recorded. And researchers didn’t even know about it until hours after it had already passed.

Asteroids are increasingly passing by earth and coming nearer. It was such a concern to the US Congress they ordered NASA to start the Near Earth Object program to identify asteroids that will come near the earth.

But asteroids continue to be missed that are passing by the earth, and also hitting the earth, like the Chelyabinsk event.

Where an asteroid blazed across the southern Ural Mountain range in 2013, in the largest recorded strike on earth in more than a century, after the Tunguska event of 1908.

The asteroid, thought to be the size of a house, struck without warning near Chelyabinsk, Russia, as a complete surprise no one expected that day.

The blast was 30-times the force of the Hiroshima nuclear bomb smashing into buildings and causing injuries to 1,500 people with more than 7,000 buildings damaged in the major event.

But this will be small compared to the asteroid deep impact foretold in the prophecy of the Bible to hit the earth in the future tribulation.

Where the Revelation 8 prophecy says it looks like a great mountain burning with fire that hits in the sea with the shock wave and resulting tsunami causing massive chaos and destruction.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
