Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have now launched six ballistic missiles from their base in Iran into Syria east of the Euphrates River at the Al Bukamal district saying they were targeting militants allegedly involved in a September 22 attack on a military parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz.

But Iran has blamed the Ahvaz attack, which killed 29 people and wounded 70 others, on the United States, Israel, and its regional ally, Saudi Arabia.

And the Iranian missiles that targeted eastern Syria came within three miles of US troops in the country per a US defense official.

The missiles also had “death to America,” “death to Israel” and “death to the house of Saud” written on them, according to Iranian Fars News, which also released video showing the launching of the missiles.

The Iranian missile attack comes days after a US intelligence assessment report concluded that Iran could be planning a strike against US military forces and interests in Syria and other positions in the region.

This incident is another example of the potential for regional conflict to break out in this location with world-wide implications and is a sign of Last Days prophecy.

For this same Euphrates River Area surrounded by Iran, Syria, and Iraq is foretold in Revelation Prophecy (chapter 9) to be the location of an end-time horrific world war such as the world has never known.
