Iran is negotiating purchasing up to $10 billion of Russian-made aircraft, artillery, and tanks a senior Russian official told reporters according to TASS news agency.
Russia is currently delivering an unconfirmed number of S-300PMU-2 Favorite long-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) batteries to Iran that is labeled as a defensive weapon system.
Moscow and Tehran are also locked in talks over the purchase of an unknown number of Sukhoi Su-30SM multi-role fighter jets, the Iranian minister of defense, General Hossein Dehghan has said.

Now Iran is gearing up for the predictable buying spree from Russia to strengthen its military and better position itself as the Islamic power nation state in the Middle East.
