After the signing of normalization peace agreements between Israel and two Arab countries happened at the White House, Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip attacked Israel with rockets.

Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired 13 rockets into southern Israel, eight of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome system, the Israel Defense Forces said.

But one rocket struck a street in Ashdod, damaging it and nearby storefronts while also wounding two Israeli men. It was not immediately clear where the other rockets struck but they likely hit empty fields.

Israeli aircraft responded by conducting two rounds of strikes into the Gaza Strip according to the Israeli Defense Force.

The IDF holds the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, who took over Gaza, as responsible for any violence emanating from there.

The IDF said warplanes and attack helicopters hit some 10 targets across Gaza, including an armaments workshop and a Hamas training base used for rocket testing.

The rockets triggered sirens in the cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod, potentially sending hundreds of thousands of residents rushing to bomb shelters.

Just as the country’s leader was signing historic peace accords with two Gulf states, but which was opposed by the Palestinians.

The rocket attacks on Ashkelon and Ashdod came as the signing ceremony was taking place in Washington to mark the establishment of formal ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and between Israel and Bahrain.

However, Gaza Palestinians rallied against the deals earlier in the day, burning pictures of the leaders of all four countries and their flags. And then the rocket attack on Israel from Gaza happened, which was also meant to send a message against Arabs nations making peace with Israel without getting land for peace.

Because the Palestinians want the land of Gaza, the land of the West Bank (Biblical Judea), and the Eastern half of Jerusalem, to be given to them for a Palestinian homeland–and the international United Nations organization supports this. But Israel rightly claims that land as part of their Biblical ancestral homeland as called out in the Bible.

Biblical prophecy (Daniel 9, 1 Thessalonians 5) foretell that there will be an attitude and effort to seek peace in the Last Days, which will grow until eventually there will be many Arab nations that with Israel will have a major Mid-East agreement, that in the future will even include Holy aspects of the Holy Land.

And it seems we could be seeing the beginning of that attitude and effort for peace starting to happen now as the number of Arab nations making peace with Israel has just now doubled to four, with Trump and Kushner also saying there are several more wanting to sign on.

But just as the Gaza Palestinians just reminded us with their militant actions as Israel was signing peace accords with neighbors in the Mid-East. A fly in the ointment of peace for the Mid-East will always come back to the land — who has it and what they can do with it.

The prophecies make this clear. Jesus foretold (Matthew 24, Luke 21) that in the Last Days Israel will be attacked in Judea and Jerusalem, with the Jews driven out of Biblical Judea which is called the West Bank today, and the city of Jerusalem will also be divided.

And because the nations gathered at Jerusalem against Israel whom God had restored (Amos 9), the Lord God will enter into judgment with the nations there on behalf of His heritage to Israel, because the nations divided up God’s land He gave Israel (Zechariah 14).

This will result in the terrible Day of the Lord (Joel 3) when He will fight against the nations in battle in that day of His wrath as He judges the nations.

Let all nations and leaders beware who try to divide the land of Israel and divide Jerusalem. For as the Holy Prophecies declare (Ezekiel 36 & 37, Amos 9), it is the Lord God who has restored Israel in the Last Days and restored Jerusalem unto them.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
