Israel’s military just completed practicing responding to a severe earthquake in an exercise scenario that is described like a Biblical earthquake foretold in the Book of Revelation.
In a first-of-its-kind multinational exercise held by the Israeli Navy called “Mighty Waves 2019,” representatives from 10 navies and NATO came to the Haifa port on Israel’s coast, in what Israeli officials said was its largest naval exercise ever.
They practiced an exercise that simulated a massive devastating earthquake in Israel. In a scenario leaving thousands dead, over 100,000 injured, hospitals destroyed and the national infrastructure in shambles in Israel following a powerful earthquake.
The United States, France, and Greece participated in the exercise, sending ships and personnel to Haifa to take part in drills alongside their Israeli counterparts. Representatives from Cyprus, Chile, Italy, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and NATO also observed and took part in non-physical aspects of the drill.
The naval drill had two main goals: to practice setting up a “sea gate,” through which the majority of the humanitarian aid Israel would need in the aftermath of a massive earthquake would pass, and, more generally, to learn how to more efficiently work with the various national and international organizations that would be involved in the disaster relief work.
One of the fundamental assumptions of Mighty Waves was that in the case of an earthquake or other large-scale natural disaster, the majority of humanitarian aid would come from the sea, not from the air, as even the largest cargo planes can only carry a fraction of what ships can.
Israel lies along an active fault line: the Syrian-African rift, a tear in the earth’s crust that runs the length of the border separating Israel and Jordan.
The last major earthquake to hit the region was in 1927 — a 6.2-magnitude tremor that killed 500 people and injured 700 — and seismologists estimate that such earthquakes occur in this region approximately every 100 years.
And Israel’s Brigadier General Gil Aginsky, the commander of the Haifa Base where the exercise took place, said “So we’ve got about eight more years.” As Israel thinks it is overdue for an earthquake on the Biblical scale.
In the scenario of the Mighty Waves exercise, it was described as simulating a 7.5 severe magnitude earthquake striking in Israel that would kill 7,000 people.
And this directly connects to a Biblical prophecy in Revelation with the exact same characteristic of the earthquake scenario used in the Mighty Waves exercise by Israel.
Where the prophecy in Revelation chapter 11 describes an earthquake to hit Jerusalem that was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand people were killed.
The exact same number used for the scenario in the Mighty Waves exercise by Israel, exactly connecting with the Biblical prophecy. So Israel, without even realizing it, was preparing for the Biblical earthquake coming in the Revelation prophecy.
These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all these things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy that comes upon the world of disobedience, as the born again Church is not appointed to wrath but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
