Israel’s Public Security Minister, Gilad Erdan, has just called for a change of the status quo on the Temple Mount so that Jews can pray there.

It’s reported that the Israeli Security Minister said during an interview that “I think there is an injustice in the status quo that has existed since ’67.”

Erdan went on to say to Israel’s Radio 90 that, “We need to work to change it so in the future Jews, with the help of God, can pray at the Temple Mount.”

He clarified his remarks by adding, “This needs to be achieved by diplomatic agreements and not by force.”

This is directly connecting to the Biblical prophecies as in Daniel chapter 9. How that a future agreement is coming for Israel to also have their access and rights onto the Temple Mount restored.

Which will lead to them again having a Jewish Temple and worship in Jerusalem around which major Last Days prophecies will be fulfilled.

Of course the country of Jordan, through a spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, came out warning that a change of the status quo on the Temple Mount would have serious consequences.

And went on to call Israel “the occupation authorities” saying that attempts to change the status quo in occupied Jerusalem would only lead to the conflict being exacerbated and the situation blowing up, threatening international peace and security.

Israel currently recognizes Jordanian custodianship of the Temple Mount through the Waqf, an Islamic trust. But the tensions are building in Israel over the Temple Mount, as they are pushing for greater access.

And as seen in the Israeli Security Minister comments, the desire for an agreement that will resolve this is growing. Which would obviously require a mediator, who the prophecies (Daniel 9) foretell is coming that will accomplish this agreement which will be for a length of 7 years.

Which will lead to this mediator’s empowerment and rise, who will be revealed as the antichrist in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem 3 1/2 years into the coming agreement the Israeli Security Minister is calling for now.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all these things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy that comes upon the world of disobedience, as the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
