Jesus’ Prophecy Of Christian’s Danger Of Missing Rapture Coming To Pass Per Survey. The survey report by a major national organization shows His Prophecy of Christian’s danger of missing Rapture is coming to pass.
Jesus wrapped up Matthew the 24th chapter Signs of the Last Days™ to watch for in the End-Time with a warning of danger to Christians in the last days. At the very end of the chapter He tells Christians what will be a significant danger for them at the End of the Age that could cause them to miss the return of Jesus. And a survey report by a major national organization shows it is coming to pass.
The Brookings Institute, a nonprofit public policy organization in Washington, DC, released a report including the Christian Rapture and Israel End of Times Prophecy. The report titled, American Attitudes Toward the Middle East and Israel, includes the End of Times and the Return of Christ.
They state their research methodology for the report was a survey of 1,738 American adults and in the survey national sample was 875 adults, plus an oversample of 863 self-identified Evangelical or Born-again Christians.
The report released by their Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings, stated that from the survey of Christians regarding the End of Times and the Return of Christ that only 5% of Christians thought it would happen in their lifetime.
This is exactly what Jesus warned His followers of for the End-Time. He said there will be those in the last days who will say as in Matthew 24:48, that “My master is delaying his coming.” That due to the nature of iniquity in the times when “…the love of many will grow cold” it will be easy for some of the household to say his coming is delayed and will not happen in their lifetime.
But then, just when they think he is not coming and aren’t watching for Him, Jesus said “the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of.” Those who are not looking for Him will miss His return. And Jesus goes on to say that “there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”, meaning they will have great regret they missed it.
This is why Jesus said there will be those taken and others left behind – because some stopped watching, stopped expecting, and got distracted. It would seem that per this survey many have stopped looking for Him to appear. It is a significant Signs of the Last Days™.
The Apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 9:28 that for “… those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” The Rapture is meant for those looking for the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ.
From Scripture we understand Jesus wants us to be in the 5%, for He said “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
