Will the 2017 total solar eclipse, which is only in the country of America, be a Heavenly sign about America’s immediate future? The last time a solar eclipse with these characteristics happened was at a time of revolution in 1776 that birthed America.
The year that America declared its independence entering the Revolutionary War in 1776 was the last time a total solar eclipse occurred only over the United States and in no other country, just as it is about to do again on August 21.
The last time a total solar eclipse was visible across the entire United States was a century ago during the 1918 eclipse. And this was a time of trouble with the first global world war of World War I , and also when a global pandemic called Spanish Flu swept across the world killing millions.
So total solar eclipses don’t often appear in the United States, but the uniqueness of the one coming on August 21 is all the rarer.
There are Biblical signs already present in America’s society and government that could indicate it is about to enter another period of revolutionary turmoil.
And now this eclipse will travel in a 70-mile wide swath all the way across the entire nation turning day into darkness.
Could it be a heavenly sign indicating America has entered a period of spiritual darkness that leads it into a time of trouble?
Could it be that judgment is coming on America for it turning away from God’s Holy Scriptures, and institutionalizing the very ungodliness it teaches against? – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Jesus Christ in the Scriptures prophesied that there will be Signs of the Last Days that affect the Sun: “… And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity ….”(Luke 21:25)
This significant American total solar eclipse, at the very least, is a sign to America that there is God who controls the Heavens and we should humble ourselves to Him.
At the probable most, it is a sign of coming trouble for a country more interested in throwing another party for the event.
