Thousands of tourists and residents have been evacuated from towns across Greece as wildfires spread across the country.
To where desperate officials used ferries and fishing boats to evacuate hundreds of residents and tourists off Greek Islands as wildfires closed in on their shores.
Causing a coastguard official to say, “We’re talking about the apocalypse, I don’t know how to describe it.”
Greece, like many parts of Europe, has been grappling with extreme weather this summer. As their firefighters have tried to control fires as extra firefighters and planes are being sent in from other countries including the UK, France and the US.
Fanned by unpredictable winds, the worst blazes have been around the north of Athens with the fires expected to continue to burn and spread.
With thousands of people earlier ordered to leave their homes outside Athens as the blazes tore through houses, cars and businesses.
Fires have also been raging on the nearby island of Evia, and areas close to ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
The Biblical prophecies (Revelation 16) foretell in the future how the earth will become so hot from the sun that it will scorch humanity, as record heat, fires, and drought are now signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
