Here we go again, another asteroid is coming to earth, but this one’s different. NASA says this one is a mile wide and also has its own moon that’s orbiting it.
Although classified by NASA as technically “potentially hazardous”, this asteroid named 1999 KW4, is expected to skim by the earth in relative space terms and breeze by safely.
The scientists say the large asteroid is walnut-shaped, describing the shape as “slightly squashed at the poles and with a mountain ridge around the equator, which runs all the way around the asteroid. Saying this ridge gives the primary asteroid an appearance similar to a walnut or a spinning top.
But not only is this large asteroid a mile wide in size, but it also has its own moon with scientists calling this a binary system, meaning it consists of one large asteroid and a smaller asteroid moon orbiting it.
Now the moon or the secondary asteroid traveling with KW4, they say is about 500 meters across and that this asteroid moon orbits the larger asteroid every 17.5 hours at a distance of about 1.6 miles.
This asteroid KW4 was discovered on May 20, 1999 by a collaboration of observatories and it’s reported that the KW4 asteroid orbits the sun roughly every 186 days on an elliptical path. As it keeps getting closer and closer to earth each time.
And this is the pattern no doubt we have all noticed, that the asteroids keep coming and keep getting closer to us. And this is happening until finally one day the prophecy will be fulfilled.
The Biblical prophecies foretell in Revelation chapter 8 how in the future that a massive object will impact the earth as it hits in the sea. The prophecy says that something like a great mountain all ablaze burning with fire, which is what an asteroid in space looks like as it enters the earth’s atmosphere, is thrown into the sea.
And the deep impact from this is so severe that the shock wave kills 1/3 of the living creatures in the sea, turning also 1/3 of the sea to blood; and the shock wave and resulting tsunami is so massive until a third of all the ships are also destroyed.
But there is also another pattern that is being noticed with these close asteroid flybys to earth.
Which is that when we have a close asteroid flyby of earth, at the same time we are having these significant meteor strikes hitting the earth which are happening as a surprise.
These meteors which are just smaller asteroids, seem to be traveling with these larger ones unseen and then as a surprise strikes the earth. And this continues to happen.
On the very day in 2013, when astronomers were expecting a large meteoroid called 2012 DA14 as the biggest object at that time in recorded history to pass that close to Earth; about 16 hours before it did, is when the Chelyabinsk meteor hit the earth’s atmosphere and exploded.
The Chelyabinsk meteor was a complete surprise no one expected that day, when without warning this meteor the size of a house and brighter than the sun exploded in the air just above the ground, damaging buildings and hurting people numbering into the thousands with the force of a nuclear bomb.
And now it has happened again. When just like with the DA14 asteroid and its Chelyabinsk meteor, just before the mile wide KW4 asteroid with its orbiting moon were to flyby earth this weekend, another significant meteor(s) struck the earth this week, this time just off the coast of South Australia.
The meteor that soared across the Australian sky this week was reported by ABC Australian news to be the size of a four-wheel drive vehicle weighing between 20 to 40 tons traveling at about 40,000 kilometers per hour which had a fiery bright ending thankfully in the ocean.
Because scientists estimated that around 3 to 4 tons would have survived atmospheric entry and if it was over a populated area they would essentially have been looking at holes in people’s roofs and cars.
Plus, this meteor actually followed another meteor sighting also this week that lit up the sky and shook windows near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia as well earlier this week.
It should be no surprise these meteors as possible companions of the KW4 asteroid with its orbiting moon are striking in Australia, since its reported the KW4 will best be observed in its approach to earth from the Southern Hemisphere.
And that great burning mountain that deeply impacts the earth in the seas in the Biblical prophecy foretold in Revelation chapter 8, also will have a companion as well.
For the very next prophecy in Revelation chapter 8 says that “And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.”
What’s happening now at earth in 2019 with this current KW4 asteroid with its orbiting moon and its associated meteor stars; and previously in 2013 with the DA14 asteroid and its associated Chelyabinsk meteor star, are all Biblical signs of the Last Days from the stars of the heavens pointing to the coming fulfillment of the future Revelation prophecies.
As another Biblical warning that earth is nearing the end of this age, and for people to prepare for the appearance of Jesus Christ at the end of this Church age of grace, by being spiritually born again as Jesus commanded we must in John chapter 3 and His Apostles described how in Acts chapter 2.
