A mysterious hidden spring of water flowing in Jerusalem has been discovered under a building as excavations were being done in its basement.
The flowing spring of water reportedly appeared during excavations of the basement floor of a building which was undergoing renovations for a new Knesset Museum in central Jerusalem.
According to reports, when the flow of water was first found it was assumed that the water was coming from a leak in the municipal water system, or that a pipe had burst.
But no pipe was found nearby, and with further investigation it turned out that the water was emerging from beneath the skeleton of the building coming from the bedrock itself.
Reports describe the flow as a “massive amount of water” that requires the installation of a pumping system to prevent the foundations of the building from being undermined, and the building itself from being flooded.
Information about the water source has not been found thus far in any of the Knesset archives, and it is not clear why this mysterious water source was unknown.
No decision has been been made thus far on how to deal with the hidden spring such as making the water source open to the public or draining the water into Jerusalem’s water system.
The Biblical prophecies (Zechariah 14, Ezekiel 47, Revelation 22) foretell that there will be living waters revealed which shall flow from Jerusalem in both the summer and winter with them flowing toward the east and the west as signs of the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
